You know it’s a great day when your mentor and Branding Expert reaches out to you to STYLE her for her brand photoshoot!
When you are a business owner who is often in the limelight like Mallika is, you invest in professional photography and you do it often. When Mallika was ready for a brand refresh, she was specifically looking for images to support her upcoming program launches as well as use across her website and social media platforms.
I got my start in brand photoshoot styling through Mallika, so I was very honored when she reached out to me to style her for her brand photoshoot. She shared that she was on a budget for this project and would like to use mostly what she already had in her closet.
I wanted to differentiate Mallika’s new photos from her previous pictures- so I chose bold colors, patterns and silhouettes. Mallika’s brand is energetic, bold and fun and I used her clothes as a tool to reflect that.
One day during my meditation I had a vision of Mallika in emerald green. How perfect as she had this gorgeous green dress in her closet already!
From there we pulled pieces that still had tags on and never been worn. We took a matching skirt set, and paired it with a graphic tee- my favorite way to add fun to an outfit. We paired all the outfits with amazing accessories from my extensive accessory wardrobe. A perk all my clients LOVE & ENJOY!
Here’s what Mallika had to say about her brand style experience:
Q. What was your problem before you bought Style Remixx?
MM: I didn't know exactly what to wear to my brand photo shoot. I needed help to pick out my outfits.
Q: What results do you get/have you gotten from Style Remixx?
MM: Swapna swept into my closet and put together multiple outfits that represented my brand story, made me feel confident and felt like ME!
Q: What exactly did you like most about Style Remixx?
MM: I love that Swapna listens to your needs and is all in when it comes to the job. I shared that I was on a shopping diet and that I wanted to shop "my closet" for my looks. Swapna's creative eye remixed my pieces to make them feel fresh and brand shoot worthy. MM: Working with Swapna as your stylist is a confidence booster! She understands the brand photo shoot experience from both the stylist and client perspective so you are in good hands.
Q: What was your main concern that would have prevented you from buying this, and what put your fears to rest?
MM: There is so much to think about and invest in when it comes to your brand photo shoot. I thought that the styling part would put me over financially. But it was worth every penny to have someone help me put together the looks before the shoot and be there with me the entire length of the photo shoot. Swapna dressed, tucked, accessorized and encouraged me for the whole session. Priceless!
Q: If you were to recommend Style Remixx to your best friend, what would you say?
MM: Swapna is a master at putting together looks that look and feel like your best you. And if you have a brand photo shoot coming up, she should be on your team!
8. What made you choose Style Remixx over anything else you could have done?
MM: I could have just sucked it up and been my own stylist for my shoot. But, Swapna knows the ins and outs of a brand photo shoot. She gives you 100% attention and is all in when it comes to shoot day. She made it so much easier for me to focus on me and expressing my story!

For her shoot we created Seven Head to toe looks using 80% of things she owned and added in 5 new pieces!
Clara says “After working with Swapna
I stepped out of my comfort zone, added pieces that I wouldn’t have normally tried! I continue to wear the outfits she made for my photoshoot and get compliments each time! I feel confident and sophisticated - like a new person when I wear my new looks”! The truth is Clara had a well defined style all along. I took inspiration from her floral print dress to pick colors that would look great on her. Her style is non-fussy and clean. We were able to bring that to the surface and tied it all together with accessories-jewels and shoes!

When I first connected with Clara, she told me “I don’t even want you to come to my closet, because I don’t have anything amazing for my shoot!”
Clara is not only growing a product photography business but also is mom to two adorable young boys! Her wardrobe she described as functional & basic... or so she thought!
We worked virtually where she sent me pictures of her favorite pieces from her closet to get an idea of her currently style.
The dress Clara had that I used as a roadmap piece to create a capsule of 7-8 looks!
Here’s our full conversation about working together!
1. What was your problem before you bought Style Remixx?
CWS: I did not have any nice, fashionable clothes that looked polish and fit well. All my existing clothes looked the same, similar color, similar style.
2. What results do you get/have you gotten from Style Remixx?
CWS: I was able to step out of my comfort zone, buy pieces that I wouldn’t have normally bought, and now my closet has a nice variety to choices.
3. What kept you from investing in a similar service before ?
CWS: Never regarded there was a need, and thought it would be extremely expensive.
4. What exactly did you like most about my service?
CWS: Swapna was extremely patient, she listened to my concerns and needs. Her choices were very practical (she picks clothes that could be mix and match and intended for various looks), and realistic (prices were affordable). The advice and guidance that she gives makes it simple and easy to follow. Her reassurance makes you comfortable to make choices that are not normally within what you pick, and it makes it worthwhile.
5. Why would you recommend this to someone who might be on the fence?
CWS: It’s a nice “cleanse” or reboot of your existing closet, and leveling it up with a few new pieces here and there. It can really make a difference in the choices available in your own closet, and make you feel like a different person by changing up what you wear.
6. What was your main concern that would have prevented you from buying this, and what put your fears to rest?
CWS: That it would be very costly and clothes selected would only be worn once and for one type of occasion. I’ve continued to wear the pieces Swapna picked out for my photo shoot, and I feel great because I know I look better!
7. If you were to recommend Style Remixx to your best friend, what would you say?
CWS: Everyone needs an upgrade or reboot of their closet from an expert.
8. What made you choose Style Remixx over anything else you could have done?
CWS: Highly recommended from peers and community.
